The FUTURE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE AND AWARDS was instituted by the Second Chance Care Foundation, a registered Non Governmental and Non Profit-making organization with the Corporate Affairs Commission with this registration number CAC/IT/NO 149800. The conference is designed as a transformative mechanism for social transformation through the annual gathering of young professionals drawn from various walks of life across Nigeria. It is also strategically conceptualized to promote the spirit of leadership and entrepreneurial consciousness amongst young Nigerians.

It is imperative to state that we have had six editions. The last conference held on Saturday 30th October 2021 at the prestigious Nigeria Institute of International Affairs while the Awards Ceremony took place Sunday 31st October 2021 at the Radisson Blu Hotels both venues at the Victoria Island, Lagos.

Sequel to the huge successes recorded at the Sixth Edition, we resolved to have Seventh Edition at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th May 2022. This edition has been christened as Africa Edition and it will be in commemoration of Nigeria’s Twenty Three years of unbroken democratic governance. We know that this Twenty Three years of the return of democratic governance in Nigeria have had and still having its fair share of challenges but truly we have also had remarkable achievements to reflect other African Countries to imbibe in strengthening their democracies.

We hope to host not less than Seven Leading Presidents of countries in Africa, the diplomatic communities, Leading Entrepreneurs, Political Leaders across Africa, National Students and Youths organization, etc. We have created a new segment of the conference called Creative Innovation hub, where African Youths will have opportunity to pitch their creative innovations to attract funding.

The theme for this Africa Edition is DREAM AFRICA: REBUILDING FOR PROSPERITY AND GLOBAL RELEVANCE. We know that our continent is well endowed with both human and natural resources but our greatest albatross has been leadership, that is, a model of leadership that will rebuild our prosperity and make Africa relevant globally.

This edition will give us another ground to address the plethora of issues impeding Africa’s sustainable prosperity and decimating our global relevance. The conference will dwell on Agriculture; Digital Economy; Education; Consular and Immigration Matters, Human Trafficking, Cybercrime, Insecurity, infrastructures development and Financing, Renewable Energy, etc. As we march further into the future, Africa must be prosperous and globally relevant but it requires our collective responsibility.

We will also presenting awards to distinguished personalities across Africa
